Or fitted to a desk, wireless pendant type are also available which you could wear around your neck, and when pressed would work from anywhere within the premises, these can have up to 100 yards range.

Speech Diallers. These units are used to dial user specified telephone numbers and deliver pre-recorded messages. Most units can dial up to 4 different telephone numbers; the unit will continually dial each number until somebody acknowledges the call (please note these units cannot be programmed with police or fire telephone numbers they are strictly for friends and neighbours)
Digital Communicators. These units are used to connect to a central monitoring station. The central station receives notification of the alarm and attempts to verify that an intrusion has occurred. Once verified, the relevant authorities can be notified.
