Control Panel monitors the status of the detectors and processes any alarm condition in order to activate the signalling. All modern Control Panels have the following basic features.
- Mains powered with provision for rechargeable battery backup.

Control panels come in different sizes depending on the amount of detectors or devices (zones) that are incorporated into the system determines the size of control panel required control panels start from 8 zones or 8 inputs upwards (note if monitoring is required compatible control panels are required)
Keypad remote keypad for controlling and programming the s Control Panel functions such as alarm-set/un-set code, bell cut-off timer, zone functions and access levels.
